Mentor Multi Width Feature Block

Mentor 960 Multi width blockThis is a really useful flexible feature block. This block will come in handy on nearly any website. The block shows an image, title, description and optional link.

The properties of the block contains a drop down allowing the user to select one of 3 top level CSS classes. This version of the block uses the 960 grid system but can easily be updated to use any scaffolding/framework. The block size drop down allows the user to select the number of columns the block stretches over and the CSS dynamically changes the layout of the block to suit the structure.

Why not adapt this to your favorite framework and upload the new block to the library for others to use??

To add this block to your content tree you must include " Multi Width Feature Block" as an allowed child nodetype of the Blocks Folder document type.

This package contains the Mentor_960gsMultiWidthFeatureBlock.css file for styling and functionality. You can either take the code from this file and append it to your own css or you can include the file in your global / master template.

<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="/css/Mentor_960gsMultiWidthFeatureBlock.css"/>

If you choose not to append this code to a file already included in WebBlocksBackendScriptIncludes.cshtml then you must include this file in your WebBlocksBackendScriptIncludes.cshtml to enable your block to render correctly in the back-end.

WebBlocksBackendScriptIncludes.cshtml can be found in the scripting files folder in the developer section of Umbraco
